Lenovo ThinkPad X61 Tablet PC是第一款配备Intel Santa Rosa处理器的平板电脑。配备了Intel Santa Rosa Core 2处理器[L7500 (1.6GHz)]是Lenovo ThinkPad X61 Tablet PC显著区别于Lenovo ThinkPad X61的地方。并且它具有更加清晰、明亮的屏幕，更好的无线设备。

手中样机的配置：
处理器：Core 2 Duo L7500 (1.6GHz)
内存：2GHz
硬盘：100GB 7200RPM
显卡：Mobile Intel 965 Express Graphics
屏幕：XGA多方向触摸屏

在这里我坚持我一贯的习惯，我不具体评论这款样机（pre production machine）的电池续航时间和性能，但我可以告诉大家，这款平板电脑是我所见过的预装Vista的电脑里面启动最快的一款。事实上，它启动的太快了以至于我认为我是在想象，因此我把电脑关机并重新开机启动。另外值得一提的是X61平板电脑所搭载的显示屏似乎比以前的机种更加清晰和更加亮丽。在这里，我可以肯定，在以后的日子里，我会在这款机子上发现更多的改良点和新的特征。改日，我会把我的感受写下来跟大家一起分享。
把机子从箱子拿出来的第一时间，我就注意到在顶盖或掌托处，IBM的标志已经不复存在。

这款X61平板电脑重量为3.76磅，将为用户提供更加快速的启动时间、更加耐用的电池，并且有大量的可选配件。
随着Lenovo这个名字在美国酌减被认可，联想正在不断的在改良这款电脑。
